A public service announcement (PSA) is a short, non-commercial message that informs the community about a health, safety, education or civic issue, or about a nonprofit or government service. Raw 100.5 airs PSAs for local nonprofits and public agencies. PSAs are not advertising, and they are separate from underwriting.

PSAs and our mission
The Big Hands Helping Little Hearts Foundation’s station exists to serve the community. Every broadcast licensee must serve the public interest, and as a low-power community station Raw 100.5 is built around local service. PSAs are one of the main ways we do that.
