Five-star forward Zion Green has committed to Alabama, giving coach Nate Oats a second top-25 recruit in the 2027 class alongside Chase Lumpkin. ESPN reported the news Saturday.
Green visited Tuscaloosa in September and also considered Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Kansas. He praised the campus and facilities, including a video board that shows film during practice, and said Oats holds players accountable but jokes around off the court. He also said Oats allows midrange shots "as long as you make them." Alabama offered in the spring.
