SpaceXAI's subsidiary MZX Tech LLC keeps buying property in Southaven, Mississippi, and some homeowners say the offers are too low.
In the past month the company has acquired more than 150 acres, leased a warehouse a couple of miles south of its data centers and power plant, and bought seven homes in the Colonial Hills and Brookhaven subdivisions. Construction has brought constant noise, dust and heavy traffic on State Line Road, and some residents say they feel "lowballed."
