Memphis women's soccer played its regular-season home finale against East Carolina on Friday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. CT, with a chance to clinch its fourth straight American Conference regular-season title with a win.
A dominant run
Since 2023 the Tigers are 59-8-10, an .831 winning percentage that only Florida State has topped in that span. In conference play they are 30-0-7 over the same stretch, and they have not lost a regular-season conference match since Oct. 27, 2022, at SMU. Through 15 matches this year Memphis had outshot opponents 273-105, with a 125-52 edge in shots on goal and a 95-37 advantage in corner kicks.
New faces
Head coach Brooks Monaghan has leaned on freshmen and transfers this season. Transfer Zerina Markovic has appeared in all 15 matches with three goals and an assist, and freshman Abby Forsgren has started every match she has played. Freshman Ella Etienne recorded her first collegiate assist against Tulsa, and freshman Neko Michell earned her first start at No. 8 Ohio State.
